NRCS Forest Landowner payments – deadline June 25, 2010
To recognize and reward landowners for their forest management, the federal Natural Resources and Conservation Service has developed a program where they will pay you for managing you lands as a forest. This is simply a monetary payment to you for continuing to sustainably manage your forest. Kind of like a conservation reserve program except you don’t have to change anything you are doing. Applications and the official program description is attached. Act soon as the application deadline is June 25 2010
